I’m Jennie Bingham, licensed massage therapist and certified doula. I have been passionate about massage since I received my first session from my Aunt when I was 8 years old. I knew it was the type of work I was meant to do. I became a Nationally Licensed Massage Therapist in August of 2000.  Over the years I have practiced in a variety of settings including Chiropractic, Physical Therapy & Acupuncture offices and Five-Diamond award winning Destination Spas. I have had a private practice since 2006 in the cities of  Sacramento, Kodiak, Honolulu, and currently Boulder.   In 2008 I had my first introduction to the birth world when I attended my first birth. I’ve been hooked on the miraculous journey of woman’s pregnancies, births, and postpartum ever since. My basic training for bodywork includes:

  • Lomi Lomi

  • Lymphatic Drainage

  • Thai Massage

  • Myofascial Release

  • Deep Tissue

  • Swedish

  • Acupressure

  • Neuromuscular Therapy

  • Reiki

  • Prenatal massage

I am continuously expanding my knowledge of working with the body as I explore other modalities. My continued education has consisted of

  • Prenatal & Postpartum massage with Carol Osborne-Sheets

  • Integrative Neurosomatic Therapy (INT) with Paul St. John

  • Myoskeletal Alignment with Erik Dalton,

  • Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) with Aaron Mattes

  • 200 Hour Yoga Training

  • Rolfing (phase 1 completed)

  • Visceral Manipulation (VM1 completed).

The above trainings are a structural approaches to pain relief. These methods are based on finding improper structural and biomechanical patterns in the body. They work to reprogram the tissue while also creating a better sense of body awareness to maintain it.

Every session with me is personally designed to meet your needs at the time, we will explore your own unique posture and patterns, bringing an awareness to help embody and optimally maintain your own physical wellbeing following the session.  My purpose is to not only aid in relaxation but to also help eliminate discomforts and educate my clients on ways to maintain their own body by being more mindful and using self care techniques.

I am equally passionate about birth work.  Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum time are all filled with so many unknowns. I love sharing my knowledge and experiences to help couples feel prepared to make informed decisions and to help normalize situations.

Whether you’re in need of a little R&R, looking for relief from pain & discomfort or transitioning through pregnancy or postpartum, I would love to personalize a massage session or a guidance call for you.  Please reach out with any questions. I look forward to connecting!
